Join a leader in life safety as our next Fire Alarm Installation Foreman, where you’ll oversee fire alarm installation projects, lead technicians in the field, and ensure all systems are installed to the highest standards. In this role, you’ll support our mission of protecting life and property every day through integrity, craftsmanship, and superior customer service.
This position is ideal for an experienced fire alarm installer or lead technician ready to step into a supervisory role.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Project Oversight
Lead fire alarm installation crews on commercial job sites throughout Northwest Arkansas.
Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Serve as the on-site point of contact for project managers, inspectors, general contractors, and customers.
Ensure all work meets NFPA 72, AHJ requirements, manufacturer specifications, and State Systems quality standards.
Technical Responsibilities
Install, program, and test fire alarm systems and related low-voltage equipment.
Oversee rough-in, device installation, panel terminations, labeling, and system commissioning.
Perform troubleshooting and corrective work as needed to resolve installation or programming issues.
Verify system functionality and proper integration with other building systems.
Safety, Documentation & Communication
Enforce company safety policies and ensure safe work practices for all crew members.
Maintain accurate daily reports, material usage logs, redlines, and close-out documentation.
Communicate installation progress, delays, and needs to project managers and office staff.
Ensure equipment, tools, and company vehicle (if assigned) are properly used and maintained.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights between 12–24 feet.
Ability to work outdoors, including in inclement weather.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50–100+ pounds as needed for installations.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of fire alarm or low-voltage installation experience; leadership or foreman experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72 and local code requirements.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, device layouts, and riser diagrams.
Strong communication and team-leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Valid driver’s license required.
Low Voltage License preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
