Test & Inspection Sales Representative 

Our continued growth has produced a need for a talented Test & Inspection Sales Representative to join our team. In this challenging and rewarding role the responsibilities will include professionally representing the Company with respect to the promotion and sell of our Fire Protection Testing and Maintenance (Fire Alarm and/ or Fire Sprinkler) product offerings to commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and municipal facilities.

This individual will be responsible for obtaining new customers as well as working with our current customers. The individual must be detail oriented with the ability to review and understand low voltage systems as well as preparing service and/ or inspection agreements. Applicant must be able to travel and meet face to face with corporate customers in the Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas. Experience with fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler systems will make you stand out but is not required.

Requirements:

  • Experience selling to commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, or municipal facilities. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to construct service agreements and proposals. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. 


Responsibilities:

  • Build new and existing relationships with customers.
  • Analyze and develop solutions to meets customer needs.
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team to meet sales objectives.
  • Manage customer agreements, including schedule of invoicing, renewals, and customer relationships
  • Participate in scheduled marketing events and industry related conferences
  • Submit sales reports and related paperwork in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as required
     

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years' working/ direct B2B sales experience 
  • Fire Sprinkler and/ or Fire Alarm experience preferred.     
  • Ability to establish and maintain viable local and distance relationships with end users.
  • Strong prospecting drive.
  • Proven ability to close work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background, and reference check.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Willingness to learn & utilize personal computers to include operating systems such as Windows Office – Excel and Word programs.

Compensation is dependent upon education, experience, and credentials.
